"Every evening is deserving of ritualistic appreciation for the fleeting daylight, another chance for us to make it right before dusk steals the day away." This creative project depicts a stark mountainous landscape accompanied by an effervescent skyline awashed with the illuminous glows of a receding sunset. In a valley below flows clear life giving waters of reassurance and promise that life returns and continues anew at dawn. But for now - the day rests. Heavy intentional brush strokes of cadmium yellow and orange grace the skyline accented by a mix of black and burnt sienna pigments that wash across the rock formation, reminiscent of medium to light brush strokes. The softness of the underlying valley is in contrast to the weight of the activity being instituted above. It's colours ebb and flow in calm serenity. Painting has finished Gallery wrapped surfaces.
